Malik “Chef Leek” Stowe was born into a world of music on July 21, 1993, in Winston-Salem, NC. It’s said that his mother could hear him humming tunes before he even arrived. Growing up with a father that worked as an Atlantic Records executive and radio talent, it’s no surprise that Leek's journey with music began early. His parents shared a passion for music, faith, and creativity that led them to write and co-produce a gospel album in the basement of their home, which doubled as a full service recording studio.

Starting piano lessons around the age of 7, Leek quickly found himself immersed in performance, singing in his church youth choir at Second Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, pastored by his grandfather. After moving to Charlotte, he began booking his first professional gigs of his own by the age of 14. In high school, Leek was releasing singles as “StoweChild” and even wrote and performed his class song, This Is My Day, before a crowd of thousands at his graduation. Throughout college and beyond, Leek has honed his craft, performing professionally for events across the country.

Whether he's the entertainer for your wedding, or producing your next big hit, Leek is your go-to. His music is more than just sound; it’s a crafted experience that resonates, engages, and leaves a lasting impression.
